Ive had my Cuptakes wallpapers on my iPhone and iPad for a while before I got it for my Mac as well. I love the diversity and the abilty to change your wallpaper and either have an up-to-date calendar or just a nice colorful background. I also love the fact that there are new wallpapers by the end of a month for the forthcoming one. Cuptakes definitely makes my Mac more stylish and unique!

A little expensive! However, you get an abondance of beautiful backgrounds that show off your girly side. It makes your mac look stunning. I love turning on my Mac in the morning and being greeted by one of these fun backgrounds. Highly recommend it! Also, they update quite frequently. You cant go wrong with this purchase. :)

Lovely app. Im a bit of a wallpaper addict and these are by far my favourites.

I really love this app on my iPhone and iPad. I was a little dismayed to download the mac app only to be charged 4.99 again. :( Other than that, I really love these wallpapers, however, I would like to see a little more options than calendars….

I really like the wallpapers themselves, but i get annoyed that the updates often dont come out until at least a week into a particular month, they are especially slow in releasing updates for the mac ( a little faster on the iPhone)

Love the designs, but having the copyright in the bottom right or left corner of my eye is a major eye-sore!

I like the wallpapers and think they are very cute, but it takes forever for monthly updates for the calendars. I don’t think there was anything for April. I also wish it was more like the iPhone/iPad apps and you could add calendars to Cuptakes wallpapers or your own pictures. And in all apps I wish you could change the fonts for the calendars so it wasn’t the same 4 combinations.

I have been a loyal Cuptakes addict for a couple of years now. I love many of the new features, but I have been a little sad that the Mac version has been so sparsely updated lately. This is mostly because I have a bad case of the matchymatchy’s and I love to have the same design on all my devices. I’m glad that the new designs have been added. I don’t use the calendar versions on my Mac, so i don’t really miss them. It might be nice if the Mac app just had the calendar as an addon feature, that way, the new looks could be added faster and those who want them could just add the calendar themselves.

The wallpapers are really nice but why cant you keep the desktop version up to date aswell! I have it installed in my phone and I love the new wallpapers. I just wish you would update the desktop! since I had to purchase it aswell.

Original review: I’ve been working on computers almost daily for decades. And I like to change my wallpaper every one to three weeks. But I got tired of surfing the web to find wallpapers I like at a resolution that works well on my mac. This app is perfect. Each month there are many choices in lovely colors and designs from bright and cheerful to sophisticated. I especially like the wall papers which have an extra use -- such as the ones with the calendars and the ones that have workspaces for various files. I love those! One improvement I would wish for is more wallpapers in muted colors. These colors and designs are very bright and bold. And while I like them very much (pretty or beautiful or cute!) they are not always so easy on the eyes when they show in the background. I tend to prefer the wallpapers with soft greens, for example, and darker colors that create a backdrop to my daily work. Overall, though, I think the artist who makes this app is very talented and has done a terrific job. I like this app so much that I also bought it for my ipad and iphone. I use it almost exclusively for wallpaper now. I especially love the monthly updates and look forward to them each month! I think this app is a terrific value and wish Id known abougt it sooner. September 6, 2016 Update: I am still using Cuptakes regularly and really enjoying it. I am especially happy to see the new lovely themes this month with more sophisticated muted color schemes! Much easier on the eyes and very classy!

Not to crazy about this app. I feel as if I was tricked into thinking the $5 was for all electronics Desktop, iPad, and iPhone. It is only for desktop in order to get it on phone or ipad you have to pay I believe another two dollars. It is a cute concept however it is not up to date they still have October stuff up and no November wallpaper up or relatable concepts to November. Mind you today is november 14. Hope they uodate befoe December….. also it says it has 500 wall papers it seemed more like 100 I could be wrong i did not count but the options are limited. I think I only liked 5 out of all the ones they had. Needs more variety and more chic wallpapers. I feel like I could have recieved most of the wall papers on a free app. the chci wallppaers are super cute though. If they at least update it with more I think it will be fine.

I have downloaded Cuptakes on my Macbook air, iPhone 5, and iPad Air. I can’t get enough of it. THe backgrounds are all so professional and creative. There’s a little something for everyone’s taste.

My beautiful wife just loves “girly” stuff, and so, I bought Cuptakes for her, and she is just delighted with the wallpapers! Best $5 I’ve spent on software in a while, and hey, this “manly guy” likes some of the wallpapers, too. The artwork is great and the designs and colors are beautiful. This is a “no-brainer” if your wife or girlfriend is a “girly girl.”

i have downloaded this app on all my Apple products. On the one occasion I had a problem, I received a helpful email within 2 hours of sending.

I wish there was a save feature on the iMac version. I this app on my iPhones (Personal and work) and my Ipads (work and personal) and I can save my favorite images. Ocasionally a imge is taken out of rotation and I’ searching for it only to find it gone. If I can save inmages in other versions… why not the Imac version?? Love the app to death. THe saving feature, in my opinion is the only downfall :) PLEASE fix that

Great app, but I wish the Mac updates were as timely as the IOS updates - still wating for November’s. I use dual monitors and like to have the calendar on one and a matching background on the other. Sometimes it is difficult to find one that matches the calendar, but it’s fun searching for one :)

I love this app… however, every month they don’t send out the update until 6 or 7 days after the 1st of the month :(

I love my cupcakes— I look forward to it every month. There is nothing that says it will be out on the first so I don’t think that is a fair rating of how great this app is.
